Saturday Self Care

Greetings Friends!

Those of you who read my business blog may be aware that I’m looking to change things–make my life richer in meaning while simultaneously releasing those situations that aren’t right for me.  This video from Jonathan Fields

is all about that and an unusual look at self-care as a lifestyle.  Enjoy and rich blessings!

Greetings Friends!

One of the things I am continually mentioning in my Astrology blog is the need for regular self-care (meditation, exercise, great healthy foods, plenty of rest, etc., ), especially with our crazy, busy lifestyles these days; here in Los Angeles we are pretty woo-woo, but I hope you find it uplifting and perhaps inspiring to see some of the healing modalities Deepak Chopra and friends offer in this progam 30-Days of Intent.

Rich Blessings!

Self Care Saturday

30 Days of Intent

Greetings Friends!

Rather than a new meditation I thought I would share a YouTube program from Deepak Chopra; this program is designed to help three people balance, heal and grow in powerful new ways.  I hope it inspires you to add some powerful balancing therapies to your own busy lives.

Rich Blessings!

I found something beautiful and relaxing for you to pamper yourself with this weekend.  I hope you enjoy it and when you’re experiencing overwhelm come back and watch it again!

Enjoying the Ride

My first ‘real’ job was that of a military broadcaster in Germany.  I was an Air Force radio and television broadcaster creating audio and video reports in a very pre-digital world.  I loved the work and the people and learned that living in different countries really agreed with me.  I learned to edit audio and video tape, interview Captains, Colonels and Generals, write copy, voice commercials and lots of other things that I never in a million years believed was a possibility for me as a young 20 something.

Fast forward to 2012 and here I am using many of those same skills, copy writing, interviewing people, editing sound bites, etc., from the comfort of my home.  I never saw this digital age coming and had begun to think that perhaps my work as a military broadcaster was a fluke the Universe threw my way for no good reason.  I’m here to tell you everything matters when you set up shop in the blogosphere; where you have lived, the jobs you have done, the dreams and the dramas that are the tapestry of your life.  You never know who you will inspire and you never know when success is going to tip toe up behind you and tap you on the shoulder.  Just keep doing the do.

Toward that end I’d like to share with you two of my favorite foot soldiers.  Jonathan Fields whose Good Life Project is inspiring in its own right and Chris Gillebeau; Chris has been featured before, but here you’ll get to see and hear him in a whole new way during this interview.  If you haven’t bought the $100 Startup–last month’s recommended read, run out and get it; rich with possibilities, you could leave that 9-5 in the dust with a bit of pluck and a roadmap.  Chris will help you with that road map thingy.

The journey from day to day blogger in the trenches may not be mapped out step by step, but if you create inspiring goals and continue to move forward, you might just enjoy the ride and find success!  Wouldn’t that be a great tale to share someday?

Keys to Manifesting Abraham-Hicks

Only two more days before we kick off the Superhero Blog Tour–a great time to do a bit of metaphysical thinking with regard to prosperity thinking.  And don’t forget to check out the Superhero Mastermind Circle http://www.lagirl13.com/ for more abundance building support.

In the meanwhile, I remember reading a book by Catherine Ponder about money and metaphysics in which she stated it was easier to teach a class on sex than on money.  This subject seems to bring out all sorts of deep seated challenges; what are some of your beliefs about wealth, prosperity and abundance?  Do you think it’s easy to create wealth or that people who have wealth are evil somehow?  It’s pretty much impossible to create something if you have negative beliefs about it, so now might be a good time to take a look at just what your beliefs about wealth are.

I am a big believer in looking at what works and when I’ve had my back against the wall, more than once the teachings of Abraham-Hicks have helped me–not only with wealth, but in overcoming a number of other Earth School challenges.

They might just help you too!  (See you here Friday for the blog tour kick off!)

Rich Blessings!
